Wow didn't realize there was still a ZZT community, Saw this on RetroAchievements, and it brought back such good memories of ZZT in general! Awesome little game too. I miss this type of simplicity.
The community has been releasing new ZZT games every year since 1991, and we’ve also preserved hundreds of lost games from the 90s in the past few years. Feel free to check out what’s been going on at the Museum of ZZT; many of the newest titles are also mirrored on Itch!
I had no idea what to expect from this, but it turned out to be funny and sweet. It's only the second WS game I've beaten (after the Sa-Ga remake), but it's a good one.
Hi, I just found your game on itch by searching wonderswan and I haven't heard of any indie games for this console before and think it is awesome you are developing for it! I believe it was Gunpei Yokoi's dream to make the ws and it is an 8-bit portable console of genius to all who learn about it. I don't have one yet, but when I get one and can flash a game, your title is on the top of my list. Being a gameboy game developer I am highly interested in this type of console. Merry Christmas, and I will be staying tuned to see what your work creates next.
There’s hundreds of indie games for the WonderSwan - it even had an official homebrew devkit, the WonderWitch. It’s just that there are very few such titles made after the console’s life and/or in the Western scene, which makes sense given its lack of release outside Japan and a few Asian markets.
